There are currently three Certified Rainscaper designations as outlined in the table below, Native Landscaping / Native Turf; Rain Gardens and Soil Quality Management and Restoration. These three practices do not require engineering, therefore you become fully certified in the design and installation of these practices. Choose one, two or all three.

Certified Rainscaper Process
- Register and view - the rainscaping practice(s) webinar for which you'd like to learn more. Registration fee for each webinar is $50 or all 3 for $135 ($20 / $50 for ISWEP members)
- Register and pass - the corresponding rainscaping practice exam. The exam fee for each designation is $50 or 3 for $135 ($20 / $50 for ISWEP members).
- Submit - membership form, Code of Ethics and a $25 membership fee to ISWEP.
- Conduct at least one community education event - promoting rainscaping concepts in your community on an annual basis OR attend one continuing education event learning expanding your knowledge of Rainscaping practices.

Professional Recognition Your contact information is published on the Rainscaping Iowa website. We are working with ISWEP members to utilize Rainscapers as it relates to new project development within our member communities.
